Well, lets see. Carpet stretching requires the use of a power stretcher to pull loose parts of a carpet into areas and basically pull it tight. You will know if you have carpet “bunching” up in areas, tripping etc. It may require having to excise some extra carpet on the ends to pull it tighter but that is why you call in experts like us to to make sure that its done correctly.

There are times when it is impossible to use a power stretcher, like when an area is too small, and those are the only acceptable times to not use one. If someone tells you different, you should talk to someone else. When carpet is stretched back into place properly, it should stay nice and tight for the remaining life of the carpet.
